Experience (2 hours)

• Wear a beekeeper suit.
• Use a bee smoker.
• Watch bees bringing in pollen.
• Find out how bees organise their space.
• Learn about bee jobs.
• Take photos to remember the event.​
• Make candles.
• Taste honey. 

Provided:

• Suits and gloves.
• Bees and hives.
• Honey for tasting.
• Materials for candle making.
• Local honey for purchase.

Bring:

• Closed in sturdy shoes or boots..
• Thick socks.
• Water bottle.
• Camera for photo opportunities (Photos can be taken for you and sent in a text).​

Winter Bee Experiences are suited to up to 10 people. Fees are $120 adult, $100 children/concession.
Free entry for all carers accompanying a person with a disability who is a holder of a Child Disability Allowance Health Care Card, a Disability Pension Card or a Companion Card.
