Beecaring is an interest that has given me a stronger link to the natural world. As I've learnt more about these creatures I have become more and more interested in how they:

- work together in harmony
- provide health and wellbeing benefits
- encourage us to problem solve
- challenge us to trust each other and them.

Beecarers
Since 2019 I have become familiar with traditional langstroth hives, Flow hives and horizontal hives.
My beecaring approach means that my strategies are flexible to each colony and the goals of their own beecarers - those with one, two or three hives. It is important to me that a beecarer expands their interests past honey making so gaining a sense of exploration, relaxation and wonder.
In line with this, I provide access to a Varroa Controller. This chemical free varroa management method uses heat as a mechanical control. See more on my Varroa Controller service page or information in my links page.
