BEE FOCUSED LIFESTYLE SESSIONS - POA
In a one hour session I will talk about native and honey bees and will support older adults to engage with a range of materials and resources. The session will include time for the adults to ask questions and discuss topics of interest. Residents, staff and/or visitors will have the opportunity to learn about and interact with bee focused items and to taste honey. Ongoing programs might include repeat sessions and/or extended themes. * I do not bring live bees, they tend to become distressed when transported. BEE FOCUSED SKILL BUILDING - POA As part of a lifestyle or skill building session, I am able to provide some fun bee focused activities. Some of these include:

Your hive will include beekeeping materials and educational frames focused on topics of interest and these can be updated with new information regularly. You might also choose to include some books or other materials to expand on themes. A hive kit includes:
LEASE A HIVE WITH BEES - POA If you have a safe space for a hive, adults will be fascinated and have an endless opportunity for learning. A 'live hive' introduces a range of investigations such as communities, care for animals, environmental sustainability, pollination, safety, where food comes from, interdependence, ecosystems - just to name a few. |
